HI KC,

Here I sit, a hearing person, but I did the upgrade by myself, (Rich was there, but I did all the button-pushing), and I thought at the time that I could have done it on Braille alone, without the tones. There would probably have been some uncertainty, especially between the two resets, but I still think a deaf-blind person could have upgraded using only tactile feed back. Rich shares my opinion. I almost wish I could run the upgrade again, just to see if this is true. I have always been mightily impressed at how well the Braille works on the BN, especially in how it gives exactly the same feedback as the speech.

Sarah

Oh wow! thanks Sarah. For certain, I know a Bn user doesn't want
to foul up his/her unit!
One thing though: The person who talked about tones, seems to
thing you need to hear them to start the downloading. Is that true? (I told her Richard Ring would have said something if it was a problem.)
