Hello Stacey and Andy and list,
I thought I would chime in with my two cents,
I have a high quality headphone that is made by Sony, and I
purchased them from a vendor at a computer show, they work great
with the mpower, and actually enhance the stereo sound of the fm
radio.
So, I guess you just have to try different headphones to see if
they work or not.
I am like you guys, I cannot handle those earbuds so I am glad
that my headphones work well.
Robert

Hi Stacey,
I have found that the BN does not provide enough power output to
drive
many kinds of headphones very well. I have a cheap pair oof Sony
over
the ear headphones that work well with a Walkman and with CD
players,
but not with the BN. I think that the BN should be treated like
one of
those small MP3 players, and you need to use headphones that do
not
require much power output from the source. I have found that the
buds
that come with it work very well, and you should probably stay
with
buds, even though I do not like the way they feel in my ears.
Andy
