I got a set of small sony speakers a year or so ago from IRTI. They fold
up into a very small package and fit in a suitcase, backpack, or whatever.
They run on
AA batteries which last for 40 hours or so depending on volume and use.
If you're looking for something truly portable, that would be worth
checking out.
