Hi Terry,

I don't know, I doubt if a sighted person would have the patience to deal with
speech and no screen, unless that person happened to be *Very* used to
listening to a screen reader. These are games you can play using Keysoft
version 7, in the new games application on the BrailleNote. There are many
other games to play on the PC. A link to check out is:

www.audiogames.net

A word of warning, the above website has nothing at all to do with the BN, but
since you asked about computer games, I felt it was reasonable to post the
link. I truly hope no one minds. <Grin>

Hi Sarah;
Are all the games for the BN games you play yourself against the computer? Are
there any I can play with a sighted friend, if I keep the speach on? I have
never been able to play a computerized game, before. My husband takes his with
him, everywhere he goes, in the apartment. You might say, it is like his
security blanket!
It would be fun to be able to play with others. I think they would be
intreegged with the braille and speach.

Hi Shane,

I don't know if this will help, but on the if-archive, there is a
game called "sherbet". It has something to do with being a
diplomat, but I haven't delved very far into it. Write me off
list, and I'll send it to you. Also, anyone who wants the
Hitchhiker's Guide, or any other game, feel free to write me, and
I just might have what you are looking for. I've been collecting
like mad, even though I'm a horrible text-adventurer. <Grin
