Hi Jane, Well, I'm guessing you saw the instructional file when you opened that folder--meaning the KeySoft-Jaws keyboard emulator utility.doc file? Anyway, when it talks about extracting the files to the Jaws install folder, it means where the main Jaws files are for your version of Jaws. For example, mine are in:
c:\program files\Freedom Scientific\Jaws\7.0 So, when I extracted those four files, that is where I put them. Well, actually, in my case, to make things easier for myself since I was having problems getting things to work, I ran another version of Jaws while doing this copying of files. So, with Jaws 6.20 running and talking, I copied those files to the Jaws 7.0 folder mentioned above. Then, I closed that version of Jaws and restarted Jaws 7.0 and followed the rest of the instructions in the document. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Jordan (at home)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 9:33 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] inputting data from within Braille terminalusingJAWS Hi there.
