Dean;
If this is the site to download the 7.0 upgrade, what is the site
to hear Jonathon's demo of 7.0. I thought this was the site.
They kept calling it a tutorial.
Someone please help me out so I can listen to it, please.

Hello Stephen,
The information given you below is correct. While many of the
older PCMCIA
cards require 5 volts, the BrailleNote mPower's PCMCIA slot will
only
deliver 3.3 volts, which is what most cards on the market today
require.
Therefore, if you have a compactflash card in that adapter of
yours, I would
suggest taking it out of the adapter and using the card in the
compactflash
slot.
If you are entitled to KeySoft 7.0, you should be able to
download it, along
with all relevant instructions from
www.humanware.com/7_0
making sure that you download the KeySoft image for the
BrailleNote mPower
and not for the Classic or PK platforms.
Regards,
Dean Jackson

I believe Dean or someone said that the voltage has changed in
the PCMCIA
slot. Could that be it?

Hi folks
Can amnone help me. I have a PCMCIA storage card which fits into
an adaptor
and then goes into the right hand side slot on my machine. It
worked ok on
both the old and the new classic models, but I've just received
my Mpower
But and when I insert the card in its card reader, I get a
message saying
"card not recognized". Although I have a card reader om my pc,
this will
only read the compact flash cards that fit into the slot on the
back of my
Mpower. This type of card seems to work with no problems. Also,
my Ambicom
wireless card which needs an adaptor and goes into the right hand
slot,
works fine.
Any solutions anyone?
Secondly, I was told by uhumanware I would get a free copy of
KS.7.0. My
machine came last Monday and only has KS.6.21 on it. Can I
download 7.0 on
to a CF card and then reclaim my SMA count? Jhat do you folks
suggest?
I'm in the UK and deaf as well as blind. I've tried emailing
[EMAIL PROTECTED], which seems to be only Uuk but don't seem
to be
getting any replies. I'm very frustrated
