This probably is considered off toppic, but the answer is important, so I will send it to the list anyway. I would advise against trying to install any keys from a super disk drive, and that is what the disk drive that came with the classic BrailleNotes was. Superdisk drives work slightly differently from normal floppy disk drives and have been known to completely distroy key disks, which are quite different from normal floppy disks. I know that superdisk drives distroyed several JAWS key disks at the college I went to. I couldn't believe the IT person made that mistake more than once, and I couldn't believe how long I had to use a JAWS demmo during my classes. Arrg! Unless you have a PCMCIA card slot it won't fit in a slot on your computer anyway, so you are probably safe from trying. :-)

Seems that when I initiate a message, instead of doing a reply and changing the subject line, my messages don't make it to the list. anyway, I have a question about the disc drive. I hope that's an ok topic here, even though it involves the drive with my PC. my new computer doesn't have a floppy disc drive. I tried to install my copy of duxbury yesterday and realized it uses the old floppy authorization system. My computer has a built in card reader. Do you think I can plug the disc drive into my PC in one of the card slots, and use it that way to license duxbury? I am lost without my braille translation program. and yes, though I transfer most of my web braille or bookshare books to my mPower, I do occasionally open the books and translate them into text to have jaws read to me from the PC while I'm doing other things at home.
