Hello Sarah,
No, I was not offended.
I didn't even consider the help menu before responding back to
you about how I would do that, but after I did, I realized that I
could get the information when I downloaded and it told me the
e-mail was too large, and I pressed help.
But anyways, no problems, I appreciate your information.
Robert

Hey, Robert, good on you for using that help, seriously! If more
people would use help before posting, there might be a tiny bit
less traffic for all of us to deal with. Anyway, I really do
hope you and everyone else weren't offended by my suggestion
that we all use help, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to
say something that had been rattling around in my head for a
while.

Hello Sarah,
I just had the opportunity to try downloading e-mail that was
larger then the size allowed and I checked because I didn't know
exactly how to find out how not to download e-mail that I didn't
want.
So, I used the help menu, which I already knew about, I just
thought that since you had sent that e-mail before, I would ask
you how to do it, but I figured it out.
Thanks anyways,
Robert

Robert,
When Keymail encounters an Email that exceeds the size limit, it
will ask you what you want to do with it. You can see how big it
is, who it's from, and what the subject is. You can download it,
delete, download part of it, leave it on the server, or change
the size limit. The commands for this are located in
context-sensitive help, accessed with space with h on the BT or
the help key on the QT. Please, Robert, I sincerely hope you
don't mind if I take this opportunity to expound a tiny bit on
the subject of the context-sensitive help. It's really not
directed at you personally.
It's the best help of it's kind on any device. It will almost
always answer your immediate, "what was that command again?"
questions. I use it sometimes even now, and I've had my BN for
almost four years. You'll be surprised at how often it "helps"
you out. Use it in good health and happiness!
HTH

Hello Sarah,
If I set the size to a low limit, such as 5 k, how would I know
if it is a e-mail to download or a spam e-mail?
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,
A work-around for the spam problem is to set your Email size
limit very low, the minimum size is 5k. This will cause you to
have to deal with your spam while downloading instead of having
it collect in your inbox. A lot of spam is over 10K, so that
might be a good size to start with. It does mean baby-sitting
the thing as it's downloading, so it's a matter of balancing out
how much time you want to spend with it, and when.

Hello List,
Something I would like to see in a future release, is the ability
to block spam.
I am getting a ton of e-mails that I simply just delete, such as
the last e-mail I just downloaded, the subject said hello, so I
went and opened it, and the body of the e-mail said, "I am nice
good looking girl, I will be in your town next month can we get
together and meet."
Of course, I deleted this e-mail.
It would be nice to be able to block these types of e-mail from
the keymail program.
Thanks,
Robert
