Hi Joseph,
I have done that, many, many times, but thanks for the suggestion. I
guess I could have said that in my message.

This is Joseph. In BrailleNote models that has USB client port: PAC Mate's
USB port is called USB On-the-go. On BrailleNote, the user has to initiate
the setup. This is why HumanWare put the item, "connect to ActiveSync" in
the ustilities menu. In this case, you need to first click next on the Get
Connected windows, then after about 2 seconds, hit enter at the item,
"connect to ActiveSync" in the utilities menu. After approximately 3
seconds, both devices should recognize each other. I have a suggestion
myself: would you change the USB driver to allow ActiveSync connection to
happen immediately upon connecting the cable into the USB client port? A lot
of devices use this method these days. Thanks.

Subject: [Braillenote] The PK and ActiveSync again
At work today, I plugged three different PacMates into the computer via USB
and ActiveSync 3.8 found them each immediately.
I plugged the PK in and nothing happened.
Yes, I have the ActiveSync connection set to USB.
Given that all the PacMates work, I am inclined to believe that it is not
the USB port, but the PK.
Does anyone at Humanware have any idea at all what could cause this?
I am running KeySoft 7.
Thanks,
Richard
