Hi Linda
I was very impressed with the Braille Notte when I saw it. I havrde a good feeling about it and hope to buy one very soon.
About how long does it take to come after it has been ordered, just curious.
can'twait to get one. I am tired of trying to remember in which notebook I put the paper whereI wrote something downif it is in braille or if it is on the computer I have to boot up the computer if I have already turned it off. I also get tired of being in one pplace when I want to write.
Rita

Hi Rita,
I can answer one of your questions. I did decide to go with the m-power and gps for obvious reasons. I am in the process of ordering it. Although the machine does not take the daisey reader, they do have brf, and you can get books using the brf file.
Linda
P.S. Happy investigations. We'll keep in touch.

Subject: [Braillenote] gps question

Hello, I am thinking of purchasing a braille note m Power and gps. Does the gps describe intersections or is that information you need to put in. For example, the intersection has a light, has an island or any similar information that is helpful to know. Do I need to buy the storage cards from Humanware or can I buy them off the shelf. Does the bn have virus protection. I would also like to know what people think the Braille note's strong and weak points are. I figure the best people to ask are the users of the product. I know that a daisy reader is not currently a part of the braille note but is adding this software being considered in future upgrades? I am not familiar with daisy readers so I don't know if that is something that can be hooked up to the braille note or needs to be on its own.
Thanks in advance.
