How about a database export menu option right next to the import option
making the database porting feature complete.
Being able to have smarter databases such as math and things happening
pending on what is in a selected field/fields field an relational db.
Being able to sort using more then three fields.

At any file name prompt, press SPACE with dots 5-6 (BT) and use
it and 2-3 to move through the list of recent files. I have had
a BN for four years, and just figured this out late last year. I
just never ran across it in the manual, and was curious one day,
so I pressed the command.

What about a Windows equivalent to that of "Recent Documents"
that could
keep track of the last several (user-definable setting)
opened/edited
files? Of course a search feature would be nice, but chances are
that
you want to locate a file that you opened in the past day or two,
hence,
most recent files.

Irene and Kevin,

In my opinion these are both excellent ideas. Every so often I
will
accidentally create files in the wrong folder and have to spend a
great
deal
of time searching all of my folders until I find them. Also,
sometimes I

have created files but later have forgotten what I have named
them and,
as a
result, will have to search through hundreds of files until I
find the
proper one. This problem would be solved in many cases with the
implementation of a file find command and/or file sorting
capability in
that
I usually will remember most of the filename, which I could enter
as a
search string. Maybe these features could be accompanied with a
global
find
command, where one can find files not only by name, but also
based on
text
strings found in the content of the file. Anyway, just my
thoughts.

Hi Dean,
How about a find files feature, that would be useful, especially
for one
as disorganised as I can be.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll discuss this with the team
and log
it accordingly. Again, we're not in a position to promise
anything at
this time.

Dey Dean oo Johnathan:
I was wondering if I can make a suggestion for the next upgrade.
I was

wondering if it was possible to impliment a way to organize your
ducuments by organizing them by date, name, type, and etc. This
has
been a feature that has been on PC's since Windows 95, I
believe. I
think this functionality will be very benficial for everyone
from
people in the school environment to the people in the work area.
It
will make file searching more faster and efficient. I wouldn't
think
that a feature like this will be that much of a problem in the
areas
of processor requirement or RAM requirement, because we all know
now
days the Cellphones now days even have more power than the
Computers
in the 90's. Well I hope this is a possibility and a lot of
people
will benefit from it if it becomes available and people will
spend
less time looking for files and more time doing more important
things.
Kevin
