Irene;
Is flash disk taking everything off the unit and copying it or is it just your
files. I just got my MPower and want to put all my files on my cf card. Will
flash disk include 7.0?
Thanks.

Hi Angie,
You have three options. Let's talk about the backup options first which
are in your utilities area.
As Joseph has mentioned there you will have the option to either backup
fully, which you must first do if you haven't done this before.
Go to utilities, pres b, your bn will prompt do you wish to back up or
restore files? You then press b again. Bn will then say back up which
drive. You can at this point press f for flash disk. It'll then ask make
backup on which drive? You can then tell bn to do the backup on the
compact flash card if you have one. Bn will ask which folder, I
generally choose none and type that in, just because its easier than
going through the tree view whenever or if ever I need to access these
backed up files. You from there should be able to follow the prompts, if
there are no backed up files in your none directory, you will get no
prompts. When You want to do the process again next week, go to
utilities, press b for backup, and rather than pressing b again, press I
for incremental backup.
Now you mentioned you wanted to backup your CF card? The best way to do
this is by using active sync and backing it up onto your computer. If
you don't have one of those I'd get another compact flash card and then
back up the original cf card onto the new one with a PCMCIA card reader?
I think that's what they are. You can slot your card into this and pop
it into the PCMCIA slot.
I hope this helps.

Irene
