Hi folks,
This is only sort of tangentially related to the Braille Note, I'll admit, but perhaps I'll get some leeway on this one. Here goes...

I always eagerly await the arrival of the newest issue of Braille Book Review on Web Braille. When I saw it there this morning, I pounced on it and went on a downloading frenzy so I could load up my Braille Note with new books. I downloaded 27 .brf files in all. When I checked out the download directory on my computer and began selecting all of the new volumes that I wanted to transfer to my flash card, I noticed that each file had a double extension, .brf.txt. It was a pain to have to rename each of them, and of course Windows gave me a dire warning every time I did. It always annoys me when Windows tries to save me from myself when I know darn well what I'm doing.

So anyway, my question is, how do I prevent Windows from tacking on the .txt extension when I download .brf files?

Thanks,
Tom
