Hi KC,

If you are running KS7.0, there is no need to reinstall the patch, this only
applies to those running 6.2. I would go ahead and try the JKL reset, it won't
hurt anything or cause you to lose any data. I hope this solves the BookShare
problem. I'm almost entirely certain it's not a problem with BookShare, but if
you find out one way or the other, please let us know.

HTH,

Sarah

books(replytoRIchard)

Hi Richard,
You know, neither Bookshare or Humanware have replied to my
e-Mail on this issue! I sent messages to both Dean and Jonathan,
to no avail. (I'm surprised in not getting even an
acknowledgement.)
I tried reset. I'm uneasy about doing the jkl reset, because
someone, on this List, said when you use that reset, you need to
re-enter the "patch," and I don't know what that is! Meantime,
I did get the Sd card with the KS7.0 software.
Richard, and List, would it help to reinstall KS 7.0?
(Unlike you Richard, my problem doesn't start until the BOOKSHARE
book is on the M-Power and I'm asked for my password. I'm still
getting the message "invalid password!")
You have my sympathy! I hope Humanware will give you a break and
follow through to resolve both our porlbems.
Take care and hang-in there! (smile)
Kathleen
