Hi Alex,

Well, grin, I, too, was going to ask Sarai that question, although more out
of curiosity on my part to see if I made things harder than they actually
needed to be when doing the install. And, although I guess it is a computer
thing as
you say, it does involve how to get the com port to show up so the BN can
still
work this way via Bluetooth. But, anyway, in case you didn't see this info
when I
posted it the other day, I followed the instructions in the article at this
link to get a com 4 free on my machine so it would then be assigned to the
Bluetooth device. I found this article by doing a search
on the net; and, although it is in reference to another product, the
procedure did work for me to get a com port for both the Bluetooth adapter
and the BN Braille display to use.
Although, when Jaws 7.10 comes out, according to the FS website, we'll be
able to select a higher com port than four for our Braille displays, anyway.
Now, here is that link I
spoke about:

Sarai:

How did you get the BN to work with the bluetooth? My USB to
bluetooth adapter takes com7, but Jaws only offers com1 through

com4. If this is a PC thing, sorry, but who better to ask?
Alex
