Hi all,

Don, you aren't being radical. The problem might be how the user is
accessing the site. There are many factors which may contribute to
this.

Is the caps lock on? Is the password being typed correctly? Has the
password been changed recently? Has the ISP changed the IP of the
email address or has the email address changed slightly recently.
Sometimes ISP's will process email from one machine for a long, long,
time and then change the machine. When they do that the name of the
machine may change. For example, your address may be:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but the new machine that is being used is
reddog.isp.com. the two machines, the bookshare one and the ISP's one
may not be able to talk to each other because BookShare is expecting
the message to come from bluefrog.isp.com and it's coming from
reddog.isp.com.

What does BookShare say about this whole thing. Good Heavens, you're
paying good money to get books, they should have *some* concern for
you.

Final question, could the software for Bookshare be munged somehow in
the BN? I'm not saying it is, I'm just asking, trying to
troubleshoot. KC, has anything changed in the past few weeks with the
BN? Did you make any significant or even small changes?

Just my thoughts for a Thursday morning.

Ann P.
