Hello,

Sorry, but when I got my mPower, that exact thing happened to me. I had it for a week, the right side of the space bar got stuck. I got it back from repair, and five HOURS later, the same thing happened. I got it back again, and the space bar is now tilted left instead of right. I am under the impression that if I use the higher side, my key will not stick again.

Sorry, again. Trust me, I know how frustrating this can be. That is one nice thing about the mPowers, though: while it shouldn't have to be done because of this, you can plug in a USB QUERTY keyboard and use it like that, as long as the space bar does not touch its board contacts or whatever it uses. Best thing to do is invest in an extended warranty: not only are fixes like this free, but you also get 2? free Braille display cleanings a year.

Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] problems with new transplant

Hi. I am having a hardware problem with my new transplant. the
left side of
the spacebar seems to be stuck down, and the right side doesn't
work
consistently. I hope this doesn't mean I have to send it back
already, I
have only had it a few weeks.
