Subject: [Braillenote] re: cell phone & mpower

Hi, List,
I have read and reread the directions from Rhonda on the list and
Sarai to me directly and spoken with Sarah C. about connecting
cell phones with Bluetooth. Today at the phone store I tried yet
again to do this. I was very careful about doing things step by
step. What never happened was being asked to do steps 6 and 7
below, it went from step 5 to step 8 to authentication code, and
that was as far as I could go.
So I asked about infrared phones, and right off the top it
worked, so I am now the happy camper, ready to go camping and
keep in touch via the mPower and cell phone.
This has been the biggest headache in technology I've had to deal
with, and it shouldn't have been this difficult, especially since
the classic worked so smoothly with my old cell and a serial
cable.
The people at Verizon cheered when the infrared worked, because
they knew how frustrating the Bluetooth had been.
Although this is off topic, may I wish everyone a very Happy
Saint Patrick's Day tomorrow!
Kathy
