OK. I think I understand what Nancy is saying. In the manual it says to
either put password in or just enter. I remember this as I thought it was
so strange. I always put my password in anyway, but all I really would have
needed to do was enter.
Now, please, please, please can Jonathan or someone answer a question for
me. I wrote a couple of days ago about a file truncating situation. I have
not had this problem until 7.0. It was wored on for large files previously
and now it has returned. I validate for Bookshare and would rather use the
BN. Was told by HW to change my .RTF files to .TXT files and back again.
Now I find out that if I hafve a .TXT file and change it to .RTF I will lose
formatting. First of all, I have always just gone to the list of books and
entered on one where it asks for review options or review previous options.
If I enter again it opens the file. What is the text type at that point.
If it has changed it to a .TXT file, how do I then get my .RTF back and if
it is still an .RTF, what can I change it to so that formatting won't be
lost and the file won't truncate. Also, can someone please give me very
detailed instructions on how to change a file to another type of file? Do I
use import and export and back and forward translation and all that stuff?
Oh I am so, so frustrated since I have not had this happen since the big
file problem was happening.
