Ann,
Yesterday I was in a meeting trying to read a file. It gave me the
msg when I turned it on. Being a novice at Braillenot word
processing, I thought that I had turned something on or off that I
maybe shouldn't have. The cursor was getting in the way of some of
the letters at the beginning of the line because I would see $f or $p
or whatever.
As an old Blazie Braillelite user, old habits die hard when it comes
to exiting a document. Thanks for your feedback and advice though. At

Hi all,
What do you mean, Gayle? You should be exiting your document and
going to the main menu before shutting off your unit. I personally
think the BrailleNote is happier when treated in this way. Also, I
have noticed that if one waits about thirty seconds after turning on
the BN before pressing any commands, it seems to respond better.
