Ann,

Yesterday I was in a meeting trying to read a file. It gave me the msg when I turned it on. Being a novice at Braillenot word processing, I thought that I had turned something on or off that I maybe shouldn't have. The cursor was getting in the way of some of the letters at the beginning of the line because I would see $f or $p or whatever.

As an old Blazie Braillelite user, old habits die hard when it comes to exiting a document. Thanks for your feedback and advice though. At 09:00 PM 3/18/2006, you wrote:

Hi all,

What do you mean, Gayle? You should be exiting your document and
going to the main menu before shutting off your unit. I personally
think the BrailleNote is happier when treated in this way. Also, I
have noticed that if one waits about thirty seconds after turning on
the BN before pressing any commands, it seems to respond better.
