Well, We'll learn soon whether it works with a no name bluetooth adaptor. I
got one that supposedly works with something soleiris. I'm guessing the
software isn't going to be too friendly, but I hope that the standard
windows drivers will work with the thing.
We'll see.

What concerns me is that Choon says that it works with Belkin software, but
not with Microsoft.

We'll see. I think I can return the thing.

Rusty:
I'm using the Belkin Bluetooth adapter with its software. If I remember
correctly, I had to to hit enter on the CD and then go to setup and install
the software. I couldn't follow the auto install. Now let me warn you,
installing Belkin is a royal pain! When you get it working though, its
beautiful. Go to Amazon and look at the reviews, someone posted a good
review to update the drivers.

Hi folks,
I'm about to get a bluetooth dongle for my computer.

What I'm discovering is that some come with some sort of software that gives
you a graphical interface for controling the bluetooth connections.

Does any one have any experience with these devices and the software to run
them?

Are there drivers in windows xp to run bluetooth without having to use the
bundled graphical software for bluetooth devices?

Thanks!
Rusty
