I'm not going to say anything about when or whether we should include a TTY in KeySoft, but I do believe it is technically possible to get our modem chip to send and receive Baudot code. Obviously for a visual display, we'd need some sort of external device.
Even if we couldn't use the modem chip, we could probably generate the right tones using the internal speaker, in the same way we could also generate the tones that touch-tone phones use. So that's the "how?" question dealt with - just leaving us with when? how much? etc. etc. <grin> Those aren't my department I'm afraid.
