The problem, is that when it is towards me, they are right
protected, and away from me, the card is not recognized at all.

The SD cards have a little switch on them that when away from you

I have been able to get to a point where I can see the files in

on the sd card.
What I am having a problem with now, is that I can open a file
read it do
whatever I want with it.
If I try moving files or copying files from the compact flash
card to the
sd card, it says the media is right protected, and if I try
opening any of
my database files on the sd card, it says the handle is invalid.
