Hi List,
Robert, be sure to try a second SD card before returning the unit.
The cards themselves can go flaky.

Hello,
I am convinced now that this problem must be my sd card slot.
When I inserted the sd card in order to perform the formatting, it
not only does not say card inserted, but when I did the steps to
format, it says that I must insert the sd card in order for this to
take place, and the card is already in.
Thanks for your help anyways,
Robert

Hi Robert:
You'll probably have fixed your problem by now, but here are the
instructions.
Move everything from the card if you can. From Main Menu, press
U. At the "drive" prompt, press K. When you see "directory
name" press T chordc (Ctrl T). Go to the Windows folder. At
the "list of programs" prompt, press Space with X, (read with X).
Press the letter P twice so that you see "preparing SD card".
Press Enter. You will be told that formatting this card will
erase all of your information. Press Y to go ahead. Press Enter
at the Command Line, and just follow the prompt.
