Hello Kevin,
I thank you for your suggestions, but I am already at that point, Dean said judging on my posts, that I probably have a hardware issue.
So I will be calling in the morning.
It is just frustrating, when I just got this new unit on Friday.
thanks again. Robert

Robert,
After reading your post about your sd card not working properly I
would suggest doing one of the two: calling tech support to walk
you through various simulations and testing, then try sending
your unit in after talking with tech support and tech couldn't
help resovve the issue you are having.
Regards
Kevin

Hello Paul,
I know this and this is not the problem.
The problem is the braillenote, it is not recognizing the card
period. If I take the sd card out, and then insert it again it
will recognize it but then it says the system cannot find the
file specified. If I insert this card into the pc it is just
fine and I can do whatever I want.
So locked is not the issue. It is a hardware issue.
Robert

Hi, Robert. There is a write protect switch on your card.

If you moved everything off that card to somewhere else, and
prepared the
card again, I wonder if it would work.

Subject: [Braillenote] sd card

Hello everyone,
I have been able to get to a point where I can see the files in
my
folders on the sd card.
What I am having a problem with now, is that I can open a file
read it
do whatever I want with it.
If I try moving files or copying files from the compact flash
card to
the sd card, it says the media is right protected, and if I try
opening
any of my database files on the sd card, it says the handle is
invalid.
I hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Robert
