Joseph, do you know if it's possible to buy just tthe strap for the bn case? I broke mine and like all the velcro for someday whenever I get GPS. just wondered if i can get that alone or if not, i may have to look at something else and just deal with carrying GPS when i have it which won't be right away. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joseph Lee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 6:41 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Carrying case Details?
This is Joseph. Some laptop cases will not work with BN. There is a range of BN cases made by Executive Products and it is recommended by some os us. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 7:19 AM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Carrying case Details? Hi Paul, you should be able to find a case at any luggage shop. Look at the range of laptop cases. I bought one by Carlton. It has straps inside that prevents the mPower from sliding around. There is more than enough room for a mPower and GPS charger in the main case. The lid has eleven small pouches for storage cards, cell phone, etc. There is a zippered compartment on both the inside and outside of the lid. The case is deep enough so the content of these don't press on the mPower. It is water resistant, has a rigid frame round the sides, carry handle and strap and even comes with a lock. It is light and cost £25. It is ideal when using GPS since one can partially open the lid to access the braille display. This way the unit does not become as dirty as when using it with the lid wide open. Deon At 14:27 28/03/2006, you wrote: >Thank you Alex.
