Vicky and others,
This is Joseph. I'm getting to the pattern here. Folks who had success in
downloading files were successful at files that were small in size, but were
not successful on files that has size that is larger than certain size. As
Vicky had mentioned, files that are larger than certain size failed to
download (and by the size of the file, the limit might be around 512 KB to
640 K). Another quesiton (sorry to bother you folks with a lots of
quesitons): what were the file sizes for files that had failed to download?
If possible post the size of the complete file versus the broken
(incomplete) file (most likely second or third file, or the file where you
have received the error message). Also, if the unknown URL message is also
given, it got something to do with the Internet Explorer. Again, I would
like to apologize if I have stirred controversy here. Thanks.

Well, for a different type of file to download, I went to the Sendero Group
webpage and then to their downloads page. There, I found some Microsoft
Word files to try downloading. And, for who knows what reason, maybe
because they were smaller files, I had better luck saving them. I'll give
the info for the mPower, but I had similar results with the PK, although the
program and storage memory amounts would of course be different.

This time, I started out with 7672K program memory used, and with 1332K
storage memory used. I first downloaded the GPS manual for the Braille
Keyboard with no problem, having 7728K program memory used and 1716K storage
memory used after it was done. I then downloaded the QWERTY version of the
GPS manual, but got both the download complete and unknown URL messages.
The program memory used was 7736K, while the storage memory used was 2112K.

Then, not being able to refresh the page, I did the enter with B to go back.
I then downloaded the Braille version of the Quick reference guide with no
problem, having 7792K program memory used and 2132K storage memory used. I
then downloaded the Quick Reference Guide QWERTY version; and, once again I
was told the download was complete, but got the unknown URL message as well.
The program memory used was 7800K, while the storage memory used was 2160K.

I finally used the enter with b again to go back and then find a couple more
files to download. I first downloaded the Version Updates Read.me file with
no problem, having 7812K program memory used after and 2212K storage memory
used. I then downloaded the Miniguide Quick Start Guide, got the download
complete, as well as the unknown URL messages, and had 7816K program memory
used and 2232K storage memory used.

I then went and looked at the six Word documents I had downloaded. And, the
two quick reference guides, meaning for the BT and QT GPS keystrokes, seemed
to be complete and all. But, as for the GPS manuals, well, they may very
well have been complete, as their sizes looked to be so; however, the
mPower, or the PK for that matter, wouldn't open them, gave me that message
about the WordPad converter and the file converter found that the input file
is not a valid Word 6.0/95/97 document, got that for both the BT and QT GPS
manuals, and the BN just beeped at me till I performed a reset. The updates
read.me file and the Miniguide quick start guide file looked to be complete
as well. These files ranged in size from the 22K Miniguide quick start file
to the 400.5K BT GPS manual.
