Hi, Mary Ellen:

You could even delete the keysoft.ksd file from the dictionary folder on the Flash Drive and do a reset right there. It would put everything back in to default, but definitely worth a try.

Interesting, Rhonda, I was thinking the same thing.
I have actually done a service reset on the voice note and am
highly tempted
to do one on the transplant to see if that will clear out what
may be
blocking the Braille Display from reading in contracted Braille.
I know its a very long shot at this point but am ready to try
anything to
get this machine to work properly.

Here is a thought on the downloading issue. I know there is
hesitation
about doing a service reset for many mPower users. Also, I
wonder if
cookies are being cleared, as well as deleting the temporary
history.

Hi Jonathan, It seems as though KC is struggling with a somewhat
larger problem with her unit. She is now unable to download
anything at
all, even after resetting. Do you have any suggestions?

Sarah C

Hi KC, oh no problem at all! You're not out of line in the
slightest in
asking that the product work as it should. You have the absolute
right to
expect that. I was just recapping the message I sent a couple of
weeks
ago, which it sounds like you missed. Sarah's work-arounds, for
the
moment, are the best option, which should at least allow you to
continue
downloading although it will require a bit of resetting.

Cheers,
