Martha and others,
This is Joseph. One of the frequently used method of connecting to a PC is
using a program called ActiveSync. If you haven't installed ActiveSync,
install it. If you have, create a partnership.
P.S. Because I'm busy, I cannot say the details, but somebody who has mPower
and who uses ActiveSync might tell you.

Thanks so much for your help. Rhonda called me and we got it straightened
out and I'm running again. Now I'll need to know how to connect to a PC!
That should be a trip!

What do you mean by the big and little cards? I think you want the
little one, that sounds like the SD card. You can't use a Compact Flash
card to upgrade an mPower.

Then what do the big and little cards mean when they are both labeled
"KS7.0?

You will need to download your product key from:

www.humanWare.com/7_0

There is a link about downloading the product key. Go there, put in
your serial number, put in frog1 for the password, and download the key.
There are excellent instructions on the same site. Let me know if you
want me to send them to you.

The SD card came with the BN itself -- attached to a paper identifying
itself. I think it's in right -- with the ridges down?

Martha, try the reset with dots 4-5 again, and right afterword, press b,
dots 1-2. This should get the process going.
Also, is your product key installed, and are you sure your SD card is
the right size and has been formatted?

I e-mailed support, but maybe while I'm waiting for them (since they may
be busy) I'll ask if someone on the list can help. I'm desperate!

I got my BN-m-power yesterday and have enjoyed it but I'm afraid I've
broken it.

As recommended, I wanted to upgrade the Keysoft via the flash card.

I plugged the BN into the AC, (not air conditioner)! turned it on,
display and speech were all ready. Put the flash card in (I think I did
it right) the BN said the flash card had been received, I pressed the
reset button plus dots 4 and 5, the machine beeped, then went dead. I
can't get it to respond, and the instructions said I'd hear sounds that
it was loading right.

I hope I didn't break it.
