Hi Deborah: Don't feel silly or stupid... I had the same problems. My husband found a walk through for the game online, just by doing a search for dreamhold text game. I too found myself wandering aimlessly for a time, but finally somehow managed to figure out... don't know how I did if truthfully... lol. I can see if he remembers exactly where he found the info. I must really have a problem if this is the game with help that is supposed to be the easiest!
