I think it is a great idea too. If the folks at Humanware could come
up with a quicker way to get into a new file, it would be a nice feature.
I use the shortcut keys now, which reduces the keystrokes needed.
But having something from the main menu that would put you in a blank
document would be a nice addition. Or, of course, as don suggested,
turn the BrailleNote off while in your message document so it comes up in it.
The one problem with this method is that if, as does happen, the
braillenote locks up and needs a re-set, you will loose your info in
that file because it doesn't truly get saved until you exit it.
Remember, my opinions are always worth what you paid for them, grin.

Hi,
For all the grief this suggestion has caused, I think it is a great
idea. I have also been thinking about it, and here is my idea:
Allow the configuring, by the user, of KeyWord automatically opening
the KeyWord menu, or a blank document. In this way, if blank file
is selected, you get a fresh document with just the wordprocessor
hotkey. (One keystroke would be needed anyway.) Just have a default
save folder, so you just exit and you're done.

Subject: [Braillenote] another braille note suggestion
I have been thinking about this for a while. I think it would be
nice to be
able to write a quick note to myself on the braille note and then
save it
wherever I want or not save it.
Maybe there could be called notepad and you could go there write
your note
and then decide where to put it.
Kind of like how we can now tape a memo.
I had another product a few years ago and you could do this
because it
opened in to the word processer.
So, you would write your note or document then save it to the
file and
folder you chose.
Sorry to ramble I hope this makes a little sense.
