Oh, what very sad and shocking news to wake up to this morning!! I would also like to express my condolences to the HW staff and to the Jackson family.
Dean was very helpful to me on numerous occasions. I had the pleasure of talking with him via phone a couple of times when he helped me with problems I was having with my PK, problems I created myself I might add. I've also saved several email messages with valuable solutions that he gave me. The first time Dean called me, he did so on Christmas Eve when one would have expected him to be out enjoying the season. But, come to think of it, with him being on the BN list helping folks at all hours of the day and night, maybe I shouldn't have been surprised. Dean always did go way beyond the call of duty, and his efforts were very much appreciated. He will be greatly missed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank M. Dean has personally helped me with so many issues with my BN. I live in Tucson Arizona and I would call him rather than wait hours on the phone with the CAL folks. He would go way out of his way to help me. As I'm not a PC user, he spent time talking to my administrative assistant and together we solved many problems. Dean even called me on Saturday with a late breaking technical work around he thought of. The BN family, and our online community will really miss Dean's dedication. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
