Greetings: I did not know Mr. Jackson personally. I do know, however, that he was a great resource for all of us on this list. He always attempted to work with people who were having problems, and it seems to me he went the extra mile on many occasions. I will also remember him for how hard he tried to keep us all on topic, and how concerned he was that people on this list treated one another with dignity and respect. Since I often find myself doing tech support, I can identify with anyone who does it as well as he did, and I know that Humanware will truly feel this loss. I sometimes think that there are no good words, no right words, no set of phrases that can touch the void left when someone passes away. So, I'll say this. Here's to a man who lived too short, and worked quite hard for all of us. Goodbye, Mr. Jackson!

This is absolutely devastating news. Dean was such a fine fellow; and he always provided information that was useful, thorough, and usually right on the money. I've worked as a contract tech support person for Humanware for a little over five months now, and Dean was always there with emails of support and help when I needed it. What a joy it was to actually speak to this gentleman one time, as I did, and I wish there had been more times. We will miss you, Dean. Big time, and I do mean, bit time.
