This is Jospeh. As Rhonda had pointed out, what version of KeySoft do you
have? It depends on whether you have KeySoft 6.1 or earlier.
Technical note: Because KeySoft 6.0, 6.10 6.2, and 7.0 is based on Windows
CE 4.2, the older BrailleNotes based on KeySoft 7.x, 4.x, and 5.x won't be
able to read it. Windows CE 4.2 uses different database structures than
Windows CE 2.12.

Thank you for replying!  So, are you saying that when I get my new m power,
I'll be able to put my CF card in and restore all my backed up files to the
flash disk?  Also, if I understand you, all the files will be in the same
place they were on the old machine?  I truly hope I'm not annoying you with
these repeated questions, but it's just that I want to be sure that I'm
understanding you properly, and also my own understanding will insure that
I'll be able to help someone else someday.  Thanks again for your
