This is Joseph. Well, I'm getting my own mPower soon as well. I do not personally own one, but the features are great. Here are some of the features: Recording functionality: Yes, you can record memos on the mPower. Simply press the Record button and you are ready to go. FM Radio: Yep, it is here! You can listen to FM stations, anywhere, anytime! You need a headphone cable to optimize this feature. Eloquence speech: If you are using JAWS or Window-Eyes, the familiar Eloquence synthesizer is here. Connecting without wires: You can do whatever you want, from listening to the Internet radio to even shopping on the Internet or working with a word document on you network without wires. Two technologies opens the world of wireless functionality: Wireless Fidelity: Often called WiFi, 802.11, etc. A standard that allows you to browse Internet, browse your network, and so on using a WiFi card. Bluetooth: Another wireless standard, this connection acts as a "virtual serial connection." You can browse the web, send and receive emails, listen to the radio, and even control your computer from anywhre, anytime (the limit is 30 feet radius). Plus many features. I hope this information may help you. P.S. Quoted from BrailleNote mPower User Guide and various tutorials.

And speaking of that, I wanted to know if any other of the list members experienced such a long wait as far as getting your m power machine after having paid for it? Unfortunately, they tell me that the units are on back order, and even though I paid for it at the end of March, I was recently told that I wouldn't receive it until the first week or so in May. It's killing me, and I'm so glad that I've finally discovered this list. Sure wish I had known about it long ago. Lastly, seeing as how I'm about to be a new m power owner, is there any features that those of you that already own it can tell me about that you find to be really exciting? Right now I'm using the voicenote clasic, and from what I've read about the m power, there's been some major advancements made. Thank you all. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: rachael warke <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: Braillenote List <[email protected] >Date: Thu, 13 Apr 2006 16:21:28 +0000 >Subject: re: [Braillenote] question regarding voicenote b t >Of course you like them all, else you wouldn't have chosen it! >Excellent fun! >And yes, do let us know how it works out for you. >You'll love the MPower! >Raachael >Rachael >> ----- Original Message ----- >>From: project one <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>To: Braillenote List <[email protected] >>Date: Fri, 14 Apr 2006 00:10:10 +1200 >>Subject: re: [Braillenote] question regarding voicenote b t >>Thank you for your input, and I'll go ahead and try what you have >suggested.
