Hi Paul:

When I wanted Braille from the QT, I did Ctrl with X until I found Keyword type. Then, I pressed Ctrl G, then 20, which gave me the grade two writing.

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] template questions

Hi, Rhonda. I found that by deleting the g0 made the notes
information read
in grade two. But I don't see anywhere during the template
creation that I
can specify that I want carriage returns to be maintained in the
notes
section and I want text to be in grade two.
I wonder if I need to create a new template and specify that I
want it to
be a text template?
The qt manual says that when creating a template that it will be
a braille
template and that you need to press control X until text is
highlighted.
That seems odd for a qt. I wonder if that is just something from
the bt
manual that didn't get changed for the qt?

Hi Paul:

I know that when you want subject lines in an email to read in
Grade Two,
you delete the zero, and put in the 2.

Subject: [Braillenote] template questions

Hi, Everyone. I have been playing with the entire phone list
template which
a list member has created.
I have some questions and concerns.
Mostly, this concerns the notes field.
If I copy a record using this template, I notice that there is a
G0
indicator in the notes area causing everything to be written in
computer
Braille. I can't find anywhere where I can specify that I want
the notes
information to be written in grade two.
If I delete this G0 indicator, then everything shows up in grade
two on my
QT.
Next, I see that this person put an include line indicator after
the notes
field, but I can't see that it does anything whether it is there
or not.
Everything in the notes field is one big paragraph. Carriage
returns that
are in the information noted in my notes area are totally ignored
when the
record is copied.
I don't see a way to have then put in unless I do it manually.
The other fields such as first name, street address, etc, all
have carriage
returns as they should.
Is there anything I can do to force grade two during creation of
the
template or force carriage returns within the notes field as they
are in the
notes area in the address list?
Thanks.
