Ottawa Canada The advantage of opening a book in the book reader instead of in the word processor is that the book reader does NOT let you make any changes to the file being read.
This can be important if you are say reading a textbook and do not wish to accidentally mangle or delete its text. It also lets you say use the word processor to edit another file.
