Yes, that is technology for you--the worst will only happend at the worst
times. That is one of the sayings I have foundd to be especially true as a
student and I am for certain it is true in the work area. I can't wait for
the day when computers and all other type of technology will run more
smoothly and have less errors in trying to use it, but then again that will
not be technology and it most definatly won't be life. What is life and
technology without a little bit of issues and frustrations? It isn't! That
is a sad thing to admit, but it is true.
I hope you get all of your technology issues resolved. What device are you
using currently to access email? Are you also able to use this device to
read the material on your SD Card? I just thought that I would throw out
some likely suggestions that may bring you one step closer to resolving the
issue you are currently having.

Thanks Keven. Right now, I'm frozen out of accessing anything. I'm in a
real mess. It's like I'm stuck between two versions of keysoft. I can't
access anything, I can't even look at anything I've stored on the unit. I
can't even access my notes. Wouldn't you know this would happen befor an
important board meeting. Such is life.At 08:01 PM 4/25/2006, you wrote:
I am not sure if that is the way that file conversion works, just trying
to rename it from a text file to a executable file. The only way this
would of worked is if the text file you made is scripted to be a
executable file and if this is true I am knot sure why you weren't given a
executable file to begin with. My suggestion is if it is at all possible
to access the file that you recieved containning your product key or if
you wrote it down, enter it into the field where it says "product key?" if
you are getting this prompt. And, I would recommend writing the product
key in computer Braille, you are able to access this on a BT Unit using
backspace with the letter c. And, if all else fails, give a call to Tech
Support.

Maurice Sloan sent me the product key.exe as a txt file that I renamed as
an exe file. I fear that I went passed the point of no return because
I'm locked out of doing anything including going to the sd card. I can
reset and get to the point where the system tells me that I can't use
this version of keysoft. At 07:23 PM 4/25/2006, you wrote:
If you write to Maurice Sloane at [EMAIL PROTECTED], he can tell you
what the product key is. Are you getting "product key""? If so, when
you get it, press O chord, then K, then C so that you can write in
computer Braille. Press Enter, then exit. Again, you will see "product
key?" Write it in, and press Enter.

Hi Stanley,
when the machine says "cannot run this version of keysoft"
it's usually
because it doesn't think you're allowed to - i.e. there's a
problem with
the key. The good news is that once you have the correct key,
you should
just be able to type it in the machine will be fine.
when we type in keys, they usually look like this :
CAAABA-JBKOEM-KOGEKP-PJAMFN-BJBA but I think for upgrades it
works
slightly differently. I guess the key should be available from
the
website somewhere, I can ask further, or I'm sure there are lots
of people
on this list who have upgraded recently ..
regards,
Andy.
