Hi Stan, sorry I'm only just catching up on list messages. Rather than
return the unit to Concord, your best bet might be to purchase a card
reader that handles SD, so you can download the 6.2 update from
HumanWare.com and install that on an SD card. Then, you can repeat all the
steps required for a successful 7.0 installation. When you did the
install, did you first run the executable to install the product key? Did
you also update the boot loader before you installed the new KeySoft? If
any of these steps were not completed, this will explain the current
behaviour.

Re: [Braillenote] upgrade on the sd card

Greetings, Keven. My current card reader can't accept the sd
cards. Going back to your previous message, when I do either a
service reset or a 123 reset, I'm given the message that says "cannot
run this version of keysoft. Yes, the adapter is pluged in. I can't
even go into file manager. I am basically stuck. I sincerely
appreciate all of the help that you and several others have given. I
haven't done a 456 reset yet. That is the only reset that I haven't
tried.
