Hello, Jim,

It's great to see you back on the list! I don't have a unit running 6.11
anymore, but I can use my PC to access and download the zipped April archive,
and would be happy to send it to you. Let me know if this is what you want to
do.

Take care, and I'm sure I'll be writing to you privately soon, now that I have
your new Email address.

Sarah

Subject: [Braillenote] Unable to Access BrailleNote Archiffe for April.

  SubjectccDifficulty Accessing April Archive.

Hallo, everybody.
Having re-subscribed to the BrailleNote list three days ago, I have been
trying, with no success, to access the BrailleNote Archive for April. I am
using the KeySoft version 6.11. My battery is fully charged. However, when I
try to access the date, thread, author, subject, or zip files, BrailleNote
beeps from 16 to 19 times, then stops dead, with the Braille display showing
%100 complete. The machine then freezes and has to be re-set.
I have followed various pieces of advice from the UK technicians, such as
doing all three re-sets and erasing and reinstalling the K S D file in the
Dictionary Folder, but to no avail.
If anyone is still using a 6.11 KeySoft version and would be prepared to
duplicate my experiment, I should be most grateful if they would let me know
off list.
I look forward to hearing from someone out there.
  Many thanks in advance.
  Kind regards,
  Jim Taylor.
