Hi Denise: >From what I have seen posted by HumanWare staff this is in fact a high priority for them. Some time ago they established an e-mail address where you could send documents that were not working.
I hope this comes to pass as you do many of us use our BrailleNotes as productivity tools and I personally would hate to turn it in to strictly a mobility aid however one needs to be able to be functional at work and if the tool doesn't meet the need it goes. Well, If I had only one, it would be that the bn could read any and all word documents, html and yes even later versions of wordperfect documents though I know the latter will not happen. Many of us with this powerful tool are using it not just at play or leisure, but also to do work and conduct business. when my colleagues at work e-mail me attached documents, I cannot be concerned about whether the bn will or will not give me a document that is virtually impossible to read if not downright unintelligible. I am not a technical engineer or computer programmer and so I don't know what it would take. But I hope the good people at humanware will deal with this issue and soon.
