Hi,

I practiced transferring a web Braille volume I downloaded previously from the cf card to the Braillenote QT. Everything was successful!!

Good. If you like, you can read books on CF cards, too, rather than transferring them to the flash disk first.

So, I feel like I'm gradually learning the BN. My only disappointment was that that when I returned to the Web braille site to download more volumes, there was a message saying the site s down for security and other issues. I'm right in the middle of reading two books, so I guesss I'll just have to wait.

Web Braille is indeed unavailable, much to my surprise and disappointment. Anyone wishing to inquire about this can send an e-mail to Judy Dixon at the Library of Congress. Her address is [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Anyway, I'm quite impressed with how simple it is to use the BN so far.

That's the neat thing about the BN. Have fun with it, but watch out. Pretty soon it becomes like your right arm, especially when you get into using it as a portable MP3 player, wireless connectivity and using GPS while traveling.

Cheers!
Tom
