Ottawa Canada Interestingly my Braun (a German firm) electric shaver and my 1995 vintage Acer Travel Mate laptop will automatically figure out the voltage of the 50 or 60 cycle mains they are plugged into and need no manual adjustment for varying line voltage.
I'm not certain why Pulse Data International new Humanware didn't choose to let their units figure out the line voltage. Jonathan Mosen can you answer this one?
