This is what I don't understand! Why do the users of the other device have
it and we don't?!
I have used both devices and just think the bn is better quality along with
some other issues.

I really think that it might be worth it atsome point for HW to support
Audible and Overdrive, even for a price.  A certain competitor of the BN,
whose dreaded name I won't mention, has supported Audible for some time. 
That device also supports DAISY files, including those from Bookshare.  Lack
of support for these features could conceivably cut into HW's market.  When
I was selecting my device, I disliked some of the other traits of
That-Device-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named, especially the way the hookup between
the removable Braille display and the unit itself looked like a big, bad
accident waiting to happen.  I certainly don't regret my choice of BN, but
many users might select one of the devices that supports the media types
that most hearing blind people want to use.
