No, there isn't any zipper. There is velcro all around the case. It looks
as if the top should velcro to a strip of velcro on the bottom front of the
case. It doesn't seem to stay velcroed. Please contact me offlist at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] so maybe we can figure this out. I don't want to
lose my braille note. It wouldn't work carying it in a back pack because I
couldn't use the gps once I learn how.

Hello, Rita:
Your cate should have side pieces on it. As well as the velcro in front,
there are little tips on each side that go toward the back of the case.
With some cases, there are also snaps by the little velcro tips. When the
case is opened, and laid all the way out, the thin top part has the
zipper, and the little slots for a card. Does this sound like yours?

My bn keeps falling out of the case when I take it somewhere.
Shouldn't I be able to close the case so it doesn't do that? That
is the
issue of concern. Believe me, I want it to stay in its case. I
pull the
top closed with the velcro but it won't stay. The only thing I
am putting
in that case right now is the bn.

I always charge it with the case open. In fact, 99 percent of
the time the
case is open, unless I'm going to be moving it and taking it
somewhere.

Hello Brian and Listers,
I rarely remove my BN from the case. In fact, I'm not sure I
understand
why it would be necessary to do so to charge the device.
One thing I do which is probably unwise, is to plug in the
charger with
the cover of the case open.
