I could charge it with my case closed I just never really thought about it but it does line up even with the few things I have in the case.

Hi,
You can charge your Braille Note without opening your case. Just
plug
the charger into the normal slot on the back of your unit. there
is a
hole in the case made specifically for that purpose.
If you are having problems with your Braille Note falling out of
your
case then it is a problem with the way you are using the case
with
your Braille Note.
When closed properly you really can't loose it.

Hi Amber and everyone else. Amber I have a cf card and two thumb
drives in my case and yes it is tight but it works. I also
charge
my unit with the case open and don't take it out of the case.
There
is no way that I know of to charge the unit without either the
case
being open or taking it out of the case. I have never taken it
out
of the case except once and that was to look at it.

Hello Brian and Listers,

I rarely remove my BN from the case. In fact, I'm not sure I
understand
why it would be necessary to do so to charge the device.

One thing I do which is probably unwise, is to plug in the
charger with
the cover of the case open.

KC
KC open.
