Hi Rachael! You know, now that I think about it, I am trying to open the saved pages using Keyword. After having read your reply, I'm going to go and try to open a saved page in Keyweb. I'll be sure to let you know how this works out for me. Thanks so much for getting back to me. Isaih

Hi Isaih,

Are you opening the documents you've saved in keyweb? It won't
work if you open it in Keyword. If this isn't the problem, we'll
think of something else!

Rachael

Subject: [Braillenote] saving web pages

Hi list! Can someone please explain to me why it is that when I
attempt to save web pages to any other folder other than my
favorites, I can't seem to get the voicenote to read them
correctly? Even when I save the page as a .htm or .html file,I
still end up with lots of od characters and signs that I can't
interpret. However, if I save it to my favorites folder, the
contents of the saved page is read correctly. What am I doing
wrong here? Is it that I can only save web pages for off line
viewing in the my favorites folder? Thanks for your help. Isaih
