When you consider the price, also consider how much you use braille over speech. If you are a heavy braille user, then the 32 cell display is the best. If you add up the figures, it would cost more to buy an 18 cell display and upgrade it later. Besides, you would be going through withdrawal while your BN is being upgraded. But if you use both braille and speech, then the 18 cell display might be adequate enough for you. Personally, the 32 cell is the best for me because I use braille heavily. But your budget might not permit you to buy the 32.
