I messed with it. You press a command like h using any order of buttons you
like like dot 5 2 1 and then you always have to press space after it. it's
very slow if you're not used to it.

Chris;
A Braillenote has a one handed mode feature which might help you.
Someone that uses it, will have to describe it in detail. I think you
press the command butten then the keys separately, not inconjunction,
like you do normally on the BT.
The recording feature might be very helpful if you can not write quickly
or Braille quickly. I love it.
I had to call for a phone number and had nothing to write with, so when
I repeated the number back, I pressed record and made a recording of
myself stating the phone number. Bingo, I had it right at my finger
tips.
I also love the address book since my sight is decreasing and I am
trying to use jumbo print less and less.
If you have any hand problems, like I do, I suggest you use a BT
(Braille ) key board. I find the keys to close together on the
typewriter (QT) key board. Accuracy is our goal.
Good luck with your choice.
Feal free to write with any more questions.

Yeah, I thought so. I also have some other physical disabilities as
well, so would a braillenote be suitable for those with things like
restricted mobility and limited dexterity? Thanks

Chris, I find Eloquence much cleaer as well. I use it exclusively on
my VN
M-Power. I live in the United States so don't have problems with the
language version. If Eloquence is available in a UK version, I hope
it
comes with the next upgrade for which it is possible to do that.
Chris, you are not the only one on this list who has some degree of
hearing
loss; and issues surrounding those of us with both vision and hearing
loss
have sparked some lively discussions on this list. As you can
tell, I am
among this group of list participants.
Take care.
