Hello Brian,
Do you know what kind of memory card they are using?
Also, I have read a lot about rfb and d books not working on the braillenote, and it would seem to me, that all they would have to do, is emplement the users password, for instance, when I call rfb and d I have to give my password, and it brings my information up on the computer. Well, this could be used on the braillenote, so that if you are not signed up with them, you would not have the password, and therefor you would not be able to download any books.
This is just my two cents on the matter.
Robert

You know it would seem logical that since Humanware is designing
the NLS digital talking book players that they would be able to
play them on Humanware's other products, but since NLS will be
using proprietary memory cards, the other Humanware equipment,
such as BrailleNote, VoiceNote etc would need to have a slot to
accept the special memory cards.

This could be accomplished by re-designing the products or making
a Card Reader available for them.

Yes I do hope this is done as it saves the average American blind
person from having to drag around a separate NLS digital talking
book player and say a BrailleNote or VoiceNote.

Brian
